CAL POLY ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY
stargazing · camping · rocket launches · space talks · exploring the final frontier
ABOUT
Cal Poly Astronomical Society is a club on campus for students interested in astronomy.
We stargaze, go on quarterly camping trips, organize rocket launch viewings, host space talks with field experts, coordinate trips to the observatory, and provide a social space for astronomy-lovers to connect.
General meetings are every other Tuesday at 7pm. Meetings are open to all students and a great way to get involved! Information can be found on our Instagram, Slack, and bimonthly emails.

OUTREACH
We have an ongoing partnership with Vespera Resorts. Each month we set up telescopes and educate guests on space related topics.
We have hosted events with local troops in the past as well.
If interested in working with us, please reach out. We love opportunities to connect with the community.
